Are you an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with experience of preparing small business accounts and tax returns? If you enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
A chartered accountancy, our client focuses on local businesses and entrepreneurs in South London. With twelve years' experience, they deal with every aspect of accountancy, tax and company secretarial work. An opportunity has now arisen for a part time Financial Accountant to join their team in Clapham.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, from architects and interior designers to project managers and property developers. For the right candidate, there is also the potential to take on more hours or a flexible working arrangement.
As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of owner managed businesses. This will comprise preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, self assessment tax returns and reconstructing client records.
Hitting the ground running, you'll get to make full use of your initiative and experience. There's also a good chance of being involved in the development of the business going forward.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- have experience of preparing small business accounts and tax returns
- be fully qualified in ACA or ACCA
As a Financial Accountant, you must possess an excellent attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
