Retiring Partner in a small City based legal practice leaves a gap for an ambitious Senior Solicitor from a Commercial Property background.
Whether you currently work at a senior solicitor or partner level or aspire to join a firm where there are genuine fast-track partner prospects, this opening may just be the ticket.
First and foremost, we are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor with a proven track record or running both Commercial and Residential property matters. You will inherit a manageable caseload but at this senior level we are looking for a pro-active fee earner who not only appreciates the rewards of managing existing clients, but those earned by generating new clients and business opportunities.
This post would suit a partner who feels stifled by bureaucracy in a larger firm perhaps, who would like the freedom to develop their career in a less imposing practice which currently has three partners. Any client following would, naturally, be welcome but at a minimum it is expected that you will have a good base of contacts and networks in the City which will provide you with a sound platform to expand your client base.
The Senior Partner hopes to bring on board someone who is totally committed to quality and professionalism, but someone who also shares her sense of fun and passion for the business. Someone who is prepared to work hands on, but have the commercial acumen to see above and beyond. Having launched the Firm, some 30 years ago, she is very eager to ensure that the right person is recruited for the job.
Working on behalf of key investor clients, both onshore and offshore (many of whom are longstanding business contacts), you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing management of these files and a strong focus on quality is essential. The ability to run large real estate files in amongst your routine day to day caseload and network with other professionals in your field is required.
Salary and bonus is negotiable, dependant upon not only what you can bring to the table, but also on your final billings. It is anticipated that this will be a very attractive proposition for the right person.
Our Client's offices are conveniently located in the Marylebone area.
Whilst this is viewed as a full time permanent position, the Senior Partrner will also consider candidates looking at part time or flexible working hours. |
